NORC June Meeting

Second Annual "Meet the Candidate Night"
Any Oakland County Republican primary candidate who is also a NORC member will be given two (2) minutes to introduce him/herself, outline their issues to a large audience and relate why he/she is running for office. All candidates will be expected to use the allotted time to talk about him/herself and not an opponent.

Interested candidates must call NORC President Jim Runestad at 248.866.2562 or email at jim.run@comcast.net by Friday, June 21 to register to speak. Please note that the North Oakland Republican Club does not endorse candidates during a primary.

Any candidate who is not a NORC member may sign up that evening. NORC membership dues are only $25 a year ($10 for students and senior citizens).

"Meet the Candidate Night" is free, open to the general public, and will be filmed by The Oakland Right, a local cable-access television show that reaches over 400,000 homes in Oakland County.

The Pontiac Country Club has a full-service restaurant and bar. Please order food and drinks well in advance of 7:00 p.m. in order to limit traffic going in and out of the meeting room.
